Operational Assurance Report
Fire and Rescue Service Circular (FRSC) 21/2005 was published by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) on 14 June 2005. Its purpose is to provide a self-assessment ‘toolkit’ for use in improvement planning, to reassure the public and ministers of the operational effectiveness of their fire and rescue service. Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service has used the toolkit as a diagnostic tool, to look critically at our delivery of frontline service to the public, in comparison with other fire and rescue services.
