We are seeking to appoint an experienced system administrator with strong networking and project management skills. You will be working in a small team supporting Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire Authority’s Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), PCs, laptops and IT security.

For this role you need a strong network and PC support background with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Structured Query Language, Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. You will have experience of Information Technology Infrastructure Library and project management.

You will need to be a flexible individual who is an effective communicator and able to work with minimum supervision and often to tight deadlines.

A driving licence is essential as there will be a regular need to travel around the areas of responsibility.

The starting salary is on band 5, which equates to £26,186 on the support staff salary band. This position is offered on Green Book terms and conditions.
