Shaun is pictured training colleagues on the first day in Kenya

Watch Manager Shaun Cunningham and Crew Manager Mark Boxall have arrived in Africa and have already set to work training their colleagues in Nairobi.

Arriving in Kenya yesterday afternoon after a long flight, the pair have started basic ladder training with the enthusiastic firefighters.

Shaun and Mark will help train members of Knight Support, which provides a fire and rescue service in Dar es Salaam in Tanzania and in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya.

Knight Support was set up nine years ago and relies to a large extent on goodwill donations of vehicles, equipment and expertise from the UK.
