Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision this morning in High Wycombe.
At around 9.45am, a black Alfa Romeo and a single-decker bus collided in Lancaster Road.
The driver of the Alfa Romeo, a 23-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the bus, a man, was airlifted to the JR2 Hospital. The four passengers on the bus at the time were uninjured.
Two crews from High Wycombe Fire Station were among the emergency services called to the scene.
