Fire Safety in the Home, fully revised for 2011, is a 24-page booklet packed with helpful fire safety tips for all the family.

It is divided into four sections:

• Protect your home with smoke alarms (pages 4 to 8)
  
  
• How to prevent common fires (pages 5 to 15)
  
  
• Plan a safe escape (pages 16 to 21)
  
  
• Make a bedtime check (pages 22 to 24)

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service will carry out a free safety check of your home and fit free smoke detectors where necessary.
