Appeal for witnesses following fatal collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Mursley yesterday afternoon. The incident happened in Whaddon Road at 5.35pm.

A silver Volkswagen Polo was being driven towards Milton Keynes from Mursley when it left the road and collided with a tree. The driver, a 29-year-old man, died at the scene.

Firefighters from Winslow and Bletchley were among the emergency services at the scene.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and are particularly keen to speak to any other road users at that time in Mursley or the surrounding area before the collision.
