Police are appealing for witnesses after five cars collided near Great Missenden yesterday morning.
At about 8.15am, a blue VW Golf, black Mercedes C320, silver Toyota Prius, white VW Golf and white Audi TT collided on the A413.
Firefighters from Amersham and High Wycombe were among the emergency services at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Prius was taken by air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with chest injuries. His condition is stable. The driver and two passengers from the white VW Golf and the driver of the Mercedes were taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life threatening. The drivers of the Audi and blue VW Golf did not require hospital treatment.
