Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred this morning in Milton Keynes.
At about 5.45am, a silver Peugeot 206 and a silver Nissan Almera collided on the Westcroft roundabout at the junction between the H7 and V2.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 32-year-old woman from the Emerson Valley area, sustained fatal injuries.
The female driver of the Nissan was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital with minor injuries.
Two crews from Great Holm Fire Station were among the emergency services at the incident.
Anyone with any information, who witnessed the collision, in particular a taxi driver and a man in a Tesco uniform who were at the scene and may have seen what happened,, is asked to contact PC Stevens of Milton Keynes Roads Policing base via 0845 8 505 505.
