Firefighters from Aylesbury were among the emergency services at the scene of a crash involving a bus and a lorry on the A41 Bicester Road near Kingswood this afternoon.
Two fire engines and three Urban Search and Rescue vehicles were called at 3.52pm, along with police, paramedics and an air ambulance. The collision happened at the junction with Kingswood Lane.
The bus was carrying 29 children, aged between five and 11. One child has been taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for a check-up. Fifteen children are believed to have minor injuries and were assessed at the scene by paramedics and a doctor.
Many of the children left the scene with their parents after being checked by paramedics. The lorry and bus drivers were uninjured.
