The amazing car wash crew at Great Missenden Fire Station will be at it again for eight hours on Saturday 2 October!
Firefighters will be washing cars in return for donations to The Fire Fighters Charity from 9am to 5pm.
It's a national charity which provides assistance to serving and retired fire and rescue service staff, their families and dependants.
Station staff have recruited a number of helpers - including five trainee firefighters - to make sure the car wash will run smoothly even if the duty crew is called out to emergency incidents.
Over the past four years, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service's fire stations have raised more than £24,000 for the charity and other causes by staging car washes.
Thanks to the generosity of local people, the money raised by Great Missenden Fire Station alone amounts to £6,600.
Terry Ridgley, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service's representative on The Fire Fighters Charity, said: "We really appreciate the support the public give us when we stage these events. We hope the car wash will help us raise the profile of our charity and bring in some much-needed funds for it."
