Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof from a car and release an injured passenger following a road traffic collision on the M25 this morning.

Crews from Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield and Langley were called to the scene, on the anti-clockwise section between junctions 16 and 15, at 10.31am.

The collision involved a car and an articulated lorry. The woman was lifted out of the vehicle on a longboard and handed into the care of paramedics.

Station Manager John Bull from High Wycombe Fire Station, who also attended the incident, said: "Crews from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service worked well together and removed the roof in a matter of minutes."
