Station Manager Danny Whitelock has taken up a new role at Chesham Fire Station.

He oversees the work of five stations in the south of the county – Chesham, Great Missenden, Marlow, Princes Risborough and Stokenchurch – where firefighters respond to emergency calls either from their normal place of work or from home using a pager.

Danny succeeds Roy Hocking, who has moved to Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service’s fire safety department after three years at Chesham.

Danny joined Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service in 1986 and has served at Bletchley, High Wycombe, Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield.
