Great Holm Fire Station’s open day takes place this coming Saturday, 25 July. The event runs from 12 noon to 4pm and will be raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters will be staging a number of displays, and there will be a variety of stalls and sideshows.

Station Manager Paul Harrison said: “We look forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s event and hope they will enjoy all the attractions.”

The three fire appliances based at Great Holm Fire Station will also be on display. They comprise a combined rescue pump and turntable ladder vehicle called the Quint, a 4x4 Unimog and a Scania fire engine.
