Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision yesterday (20/5) on the A412, Uxbridge Road, Iver Heath.
At around 6.45pm a black Mitsubishi collided with a tree between the Crooked Billet roundabout, Five Points and Black Park.
The driver, a 24-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 33-year-old woman, was cut free from the car by the fire service and taken to hospital. She sustained serious fractures and remains in hospital in a stable condition.
The road was closed for six hours while collision investigators carried out their investigation.
PC Gareth Watkins, investigating the collision, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
