Charity day at Chesham Fire Station

The day will include an opportunity for children to explore Chesham's fire engine.

Chesham Fire Station is to hold a charity car wash day on Sunday 12 July to help raise money for Chesham branch of the Royal British Legion, whose Broad Street headquarters were badly damaged by fire earlier this month, and The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters will be washing cars in return for a donation to the charities, and children will be able to learn about the station’s fire engine and the special equipment it carries.

Refreshments will be on sale, and there will also be a raffle and the opportunity to pick up fire safety information.

Chesham Fire Station is in Bellingdon Road, and the event will run from 10am to 4pm.
