Car involved in collision with coach

28 August 2009

Firefighters released two women from a car in Milton Keynes last night after it was involved in a collision with a coach.

Crews from Broughton, Great Holm and Newport Pagnell were called to the junction of Overstreet and Portway at the North Overgate roundabout in Campbell Park at 10.09pm.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the front doors from the car before using longboards to lift the injured women out.

The driver and about 15 passengers on the single-decker National Express coach were uninjured.

South Central Ambulance Service also attended.
