Firefighters released an injured woman from a car this afternoon after it was involved in a collision with a single-decker bus.

Crews from Great Holm, Broughton and Newport Pagnell were called to Midsummer Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes at 12.50pm.

Two passengers on the bus were injured but were able to leave the bus safely along with the bus driver and about eight other passengers.

Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service also attended.
