Firefighters had to release a back-seat passenger trapped in a car following a collision on the M40 yesterday evening.
Crews from High Wycombe, Stokenchurch and Beaconsfield were called to the incident involving a car and a lorry on the east southbound carriageway between junctions 5 and 4 at 8.45pm.
Two women were released, injured, before they arrived. A man had to be released by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear.
Station Manager John Bull from High Wycombe Fire Station, who also attended, said: “Firefighters removed the doors and roof and had to dismantle and remove the front seat to make room to release him safely.”
Thames Valley Police are investigating the collision. PC Tom Smith said: “I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself.”
