Appeal for witnesses - fatal collision, Aylesbury

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian died in a collision in Aylesbury yesterday evening.
At around 5pm a black Vauxhall Astra was travelling along Elmhurst Road in the direction of Buckingham Road when it collided with a pedestrian who was crossing the road. The pedestrian, a 76-year-old woman from Aylesbury, was pronounced dead at the scene.
PC Naomi Hames, investigating the collision, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the car prior to it. Anyone with any information can contact me via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.”
