6.00pm: Emergency services are still at the scene of a warehouse fire at Three Bridge Mill in Twyford.
The fire is in a large commercial building, 100 metres by 50 metres, which is divided into units.
Chief Fire Officer Damian Smith, who attended the scene, said: “The fire has been contained within the central portion of the building.
“Firefighters are working to minimise fire spread and extinguish the fire. Crews in breathing apparatus have made multiple entries into the premises and the situation has been contained.
“An effective firefighting main has been established drawing water from a local river and currently arrangements are being put in place to relieve crews who have been in attendance for some time. It is likely to be a long and protracted incident.”
He added: “It is important to note that no members of the public were involved, and the safety of our operational crews remains a high priority.”
Thames Valley Police are attending the incident and have closed several roads in the area.
