A picture of the single storey building destroyed by fire.

An outbuilding used for storage was destroyed by fire in Aylesbury yesterday evening.

Firefighters from Aylesbury and Haddenham were called to the single storey building at the back of Lloyds Pharmacy in the High Street, at 5.47pm.

Fears that there was someone inside the building turned out to be unfounded.

Firefighters extinguished the fire using one jet, one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus.
