Woman trapped after M40 collision

Firefighters released a woman who was trapped in a car after a collision on the M40 this morning. It happened on the west northbound stretch between junctions 5 (Stokenchurch) and 6 (Chinnor).

Two crews from High Wycombe Fire Station and one from Watlington, Oxfordshire, were called at 7.30am. Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to remove the roof from the car, which was on its side, before releasing the occupant.
