Generous shoppers helped Bletchley Fire Station collect £860 for The Fire Fighters Charity on Saturday.

Firefighters from Green Watch stood outside Ikea in Bletchley from 10am to 3pm.

Watch Manager Bob Stilton said: “We would like to thank the public for their generosity – we were delighted with the total.”

The Fire Fighters Charity is a national charity which provides assistance to serving and retired fire and rescue service staff, their families and dependants.
