Firefighter Jim Hutchison from Great Holm Fire Station in Milton Keynes has been presented with a certificate and award marking 25 years of continuous service with Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.

The presentation, pictured above, was made by Mrs Jenny Hopkirk, Vice Lord-Lieutenant for Buckinghamshire, at a ceremony at the Civic Centre in Aylesbury on Friday.

It was also attended by Mrs Amanda Nicholson, High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, Cllr David Rowlands, Chairman of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire & Rescue Authority, and Damian Smith, Chief Fire Officer, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service.

Jim began his career at Bletchley Fire Station in November 1981, transferring to Great Holm in 1990.
