Have your car washed by firefighters on Saturday 24 November and help raise money for the Warwickshire Firefighters Families Fund at the same time.

Buckingham Fire Station, in Bourton Road, is staging a fundraising car wash event between 10am and 2pm.

The fund was set up to support the families of the four firefighters who tragically lost their lives while tackling a warehouse fire in Atherstone on Stour.

The fire happened on the evening of Friday November 2, and claimed the lives of Ian Reid, 44, Darren Yates-Badley, 24, John Averis, 27, and Ashley Stephens, 20.

If you would like to support the fund but cannot attend the car wash, online donations can be made by visiting the Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service website and following the links from http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/fireandrescue
