Firefighter applications 2010 – important update

Because of the large number of application forms received for Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service’s 2010 wholetime firefighter recruitment campaign, it is taking longer than expected to process them.
Today was our original deadline for notifying candidates who were being invited to the next stage of the selection procedure, the written assessment.
Unfortunately, we have had to change this date to Friday 16 April. If you sent in an application form and have not heard back from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service by this date, it means you have not been shortlisted on this occasion.
HR Manager Steve Foster said: “We apologise for keeping people in suspense and would once again like to thank everyone who attended our recruitment events last month and who showed an interest in joining us.” Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is still recruiting Retained Duty System, or on-call, firefighters.
