Fireworks - Storage and Sales

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is required under various Acts of Parliament to enforce fire safety and to provide fire safety education.

Our protection and prevention departments are working together to reduce the number of deliberate and accidental fires in businesses.

Three-quarters of businesses that suffer a serious fire do not recover at all and go out of business, resulting in significant job losses which in turn affect local communities and neighbouring businesses. Arson attacks on businesses also pose a major risk of injury or death, not only to staff but also to attending fire crews.

Using the links above you can download 10 PDFs providing businesses with a risk-based approach to eliminating the possibility of harm through fire, and a reactive approach to courses for employers and employees.

The information was produced by the West Midlands Arson Task Force. Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service has worked in partnership to roll out a similar programme in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

This fire risk reduction resource can help businesses throughout Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes provide a safer environment for the public and employees.
