To help you comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, this page provides links to a self assessment form.
Completing the assessment is not in itself a suitable and sufficient fire based risk assessment as required by the above order. It does, however, identify areas that may need to be addressed when you do complete your risk assessment or review an existing one.
If you wish to, you may forward the results of your self assessment to us. We will use the information to assess the risk to life that your building presents to see if it matches our criteria for inspection.
The self assessment is available in two formats:
- A PDF that can be printed and then posted to: The Technical Officer, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, Brigade Headquarters, Stocklake, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP20 1BD.
- An electronic form that can be emailed back to us for review to the relevant fire safety team email address.
If your business is in Aylesbury Vale District or Chiltern District, the email address is: AVDC-CDCfiresafety@bucksfire.gov.uk
If your business is in Milton Keynes, the email address is: email@example.com
If your business is in South Bucks District or Wycombe District, the email address is: WDC-SBDCfiresafety@bucksfire.gov.uk
Our reply will state either that you appear to be complying with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, or that you appear not to be complying with it.
If you appear not be complying with it, we will tell you the areas that need to be addressed so that you do.
