This course is designed for organisations who wish to train their own safety officers to be able to give Fire Awareness courses.. The course is designed to provide safety officers with a sound knowledge of training techniques and the practical skills necessary for delivering effective training to company staff in Fire Awareness

At the end of the course students will:

• Understand the legal requirement for fire awareness training
• Understand techniques of training and how to prepare for the course
• Have the practical skills necessary for the achievement of effective training

• Fire safety training and the law
• Training techniques
• Preparation of training aids
• Training session planning and preparation
• Lecture presentations (practical)
• Organising fire evacuation drills

Certificate: Students who show competence will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
