Displays and other public events

In addition to the specific activities and initiatives mentioned on other pages, the Brigade often puts on displays at public events. These include the annual Bucks County Show, plus more local town and village shows, fetes, summer fairs, etc.

In each case we aim to provide as much fire safety information as possible – look out for red and white awning! – and sometimes we can provide our dramatic Chip Pan Demonstration Unit.

During the course of a year, our fire station personnel attend many public events local to their fire station. Many stations also have their own open days, where you can meet the firefighters, see the fire engines and watch various displays that highlight some of the aspects of our work.
