Community Safety

Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service is involved in many aspects of community safety, though fire safety is still our special interest. More details of some of this work can be found on our other community safety pages.

We are statutory members of District Council Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships (CDRPs), where we meet our partner agencies to develop and implement community safety strategies. Outside these formal partnerships, we are working with numerous organisations, groups and individuals to keep you safe.

To make this partnership work run more smoothly we have community safety staff in each local council area and colleagues serving the whole of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. They provide a single point of contact for all our partners and they also liaise with the fire stations in their area, providing them with support for the community safety initiatives that they are involved in.
